A Sun Setting

Is the Sun

Setting

On this world,

Is the light

Fading

From this day,

Is our blood

Cooling

In our hearts;

All is still

And beautiful,

Before

The river of time

Departs.

Is the sky

Shifting

For this world,

Is the colour

Running

From this day,

Is the tree

Falling

Without a sound;

All is still

And beautiful

Before

The rain kisses

Dry ground.
