Where Culture Meets Creativity
With All Recompense
Someday
Somewhere
I could bid you farewell
With all recompense
When I gather the courage
To break the hard ice
Without asking for
Any indemnity
Of returning back
Though I could not freely
Expess the desire
Of being selfish
That greed still lies
Under my rib cage
To grab and hide you
From the knavish eyes
The world;
Chapped lips
And disheveled hair
Is all that my company
Placed on your platter. © Kawsar Khalil
