Shadows Can Love

I kiss you invisibly,
noiseless, almost non-existent
you're so gone and
that's how I recreate you
with every blink of the pupil,
I inhale you so much
from the corners of the room
in the building always facing north
so out of habit
there, I trap you and
I guard you like Parnassus
deepest in the cells
to call you impulse of the Big Bang,
I allow you that much
to be life
shadows think I breathe
but I write and
I love you
invisibly noiseless, almost non-existent,
while you sleep somewhere deeply
hidden in the universe.
