The Waning Moon
By dusk thou came down
And shone upon me till dawn
My eyes fixed upon thine
As if I had drunk thy optic wine.
So the night spend without sleep
Lost in thoughts of an old grief
No one truly wanted me to keep
That I am the single falling leaf.
It seems thou won't fade away
Despite of the ascending day
But thou, a reverie of mind game
So will no longer remain the same.
My heart breaks thousand times
Each time I see the recurring noon
So better to rejoice with rhymes
Than to mourn at the waning moon.
