Where Culture Meets Creativity
The Road by Georgiana L. Gheorghe
Whether it's made of stone or dirt,
whether it's old or new,
I will follow it despite the obstacles
I have to encounter along the way.
I'm walking with my chin up,
focusing on the task at hand,
dodging the snakes that are spitting venom at me
and the stones thrown at me.
"Where are you headed?" People would ask.
They don't need to worry about me
because I already established a goal.
They should decide what road they choose to follow.
Time flies with the speed of light
not caring about their feelings,
leaving them to find the solution
to their problems on their own. The Road
Either it's stone or earth,
either it's old or new,
I will follow him regardless of obstacles
which I have to face along the way.
I walk with my head up high,
focusing on what I set to do.
Beware of snakes sitting on me with venom
and by the stones thrown at me.
"Where are you going?" People would ask me.
They don't have to worry
because I already set a goal for myself. They should decide which path they will follow in life.
Time passes at the speed of light
without caring about their feelings,
leaving them to look for themselves
solutions for their problems.
