Fall Season's Memories
Written by Imen Melliti
I came back to the fall seasons
long years ago, when my leaves were thrown by the wind
trying to manage to gather them again
and get used of
the absence of my sunshine
For a long time I haven't seen your face
I was to detach from roots of memories
until I no longer can feel my present
Every day I turn around seeking for your shadows
in the running clouds
I did never expect that one day I would feel lost without you
that your absence would wreak on my chest,
that your name would ring so much in my head
I sincerely believed that I would never have to face
the pitiless storm
You are the only person who can water my seeds
I know I'm alone in this deserted earth
rain and pain remain
my last seasons
what breaks my fragile branches down
are my unvoiced words
